Student Summit Fun

Today Thursday 24th June my class went to the Student Summit and Hornby School if you do not know what the Student Summit is it is a thing were people run workshops about reading. It was really fun and some of the works shops I went to were about Wevideo witch is a video editing thing, Upgrade your google slides and I did presenting too. There were four sessions but I only went to two beucase I had to do a presantation about Animaker two times and the other two times I went to other people's work shop. Here are some photos of the slide I went to and me a diferant sessions.

Did you like them? This was a really good experience and I have never done somthing like it before I hope I canvi go again some other year. My friends said Okay and it was really good. My fav thing I did was go to Wedeo it was my first thing I went to and I loved presenting I was a bit nervous at the start but then I was not nervous the more we got into it,

Pink Shirt Day

I know it has been a while since I have last posted but here I am in term 2 posting a blog post about Pink Shirt Day. Now if you don't know what Pink Shirt Day is it is basicley a day were people wear pink and it is a day were you should not bully people or get bullied for what you are wearing. Here is the story about how Pink Shirt Day became a thing. Well one day a boy went to school wearing pink and he got bullied for wearing a pink shirt becuase they were like oh pink is a girls couler but pink is any one can wear pink. Also this is a true story of how Pink Shirt Day became a thing. I did not wear a pink shirt day instead I just wore a pink scrunchie, pink shoes and socks but you don't have to wear a pink shirt just if it is something little it counts. 

Ok so moving on we I am going to show you a photo of a slide that I write comments about and a class photo of us in pink so here it is.

I got these photo from a slide we made in class.  Did you like? We had to hold someone in our class in the back row I am in it. It was really fun to make but it took a few go's. This was probably the best and funest class photo we have ever took in every class I have been in at school.

Camp Series - Post 3 - Day3

Welcome back to my 3rd and last blog post of my camp series. Today I will be talking about Day3 at camp so how I will be presenting that to you is a slide show about activitys and the bus ride here is my  D.L.O

 Did you like it? On the last day I learnt how to play Gaga in the Gaga pit it was really fun.  Over all I enjoyed my camp experience.

Camp Series - Post 2 - Day2

Today I will be talking about my school camp and if you saw my last post you would know that this is my 2nd post out of 3 about my school camp. Also if you did not see my 1st post you would not know were I went for school camp so I am about to tell you I went to Waipara Adventrue Center also I linked there website the there name.

I really enjoyed day2 I taught me that I can push my limets and can learn new things.

Camp Series - Post 1 - Day1

Today I am going to be talking about my school camp that I went to last week and this post is only 1 of 3 blog posts I will be posting about camp. You might be woundering where I went for school camp? I went to Waipara Adventure Center and I linked their website in their name.

Cybersmart Challenge #1

 This morning we have completed the Cybersmart Challange #1 from the Cybersmart Challenge Blog. It was really easy and fun. All we had to do is drag the right words into the right places and it was really good becuase I knew a hole lot about the kawa of care becuase that was what it was based on.

Splash In With Rimu

For the last two weeks we have had swimsafe instructors come to our school becuase we have a school pool to teach us swiming techniques like, Freestyle, Backstrock, breaststroke, Starfish, and jumping in. We were split into 3 groups I was in group 2. Here are some photos of what we were doing.

I have learnt how to get clothes off if you ever went on a boat and it sank (instead of clothes we had PJs  over top of our togs)  how to get of a boat safely, To do huddles to stay close with each other and you have to hold around the waste and nothing above there, wear a life jacket when you go on a boat.

The thing I will remember the most about this year's swim safe lesson is when we had our PJs on and when we got to go in the boat.
