Summer Learning Blog Post 1

Hello Bloger's

Today for my Summer Learning I am going to be doing Scaling New Heights it is wort 6 pont's.
Here in this activeity I am going to be talking about Sir Edmand Hilery and how he was the first person to climp Mount Everyest 1953. Wow that was a long time ago but the 2ed part is talk about a charty of my choice and what thye do.

SPCA was what I thought so her is what they do:
They help  animal's if they are lost and  abandont. They also take animals away if the onwer can not take care of them the right way of if they are not being treated well. 40k animals have been helped by the SPCA across NZ. 29.6k animals have been microchiped thank's to the SPCA.
SPCA helps protect over 40,000 animals in New Zealand.

So that is the end of my blog post today I may have one more posted this evning.

Do you know any more about the SPCA?

  1. Hi Angel-Mey,

    Me again. :)

Congratulations on completing your first Week 1 activity!

You've included some great statistics in your post, Angel-Mey. I didn't realise just how many animals the SPCA has help - that's amazing! I'm glad that homeless and mistreated animals have a safe place to go. Did you know that you can volunteer at the SPCA and help look after the different animals? I've always wanted to help take care of the dogs. Which animals would you like to take care of if you volunteered there?

Have an awesome day and keep up the amazing blogging! :)

    Talk soon,

    Mikey

  2. Kia ora, I'm Lucy for Yaldhurst Model School.

I liked the way you used paragraphs instead of just putting all the information into one big paragraph.

Did you know there is an SPCA in Christchurch that you can go and visit to see all the animals up for adoption, I hope my mum gets me a kitten from there.
