For summer learning today It was that I have to tell you something my friend has been brave about and somehting I have. This was basted on In 2009, Mr Chesley Sullenberger, or “Sully”, became very famous when he landed his aeroplane in the middle of the Hudson River in New York City  and he must of been brave about that. 

First My Friend: Bridie

A few year's ago she borck her arm on the flying fox becuase she fell of it and landet on her arm really wedly. But after school she went to the docter to get her arm cheeked and then got a cast. But the day after she ended up geting chiken pox I had all ready has chiken pox well that must of been very crazzy chiken pox and a brokend arm.

So that is the end of my friend's now my story.

Today for my Summer Learning I am going to be doing Scaling New Heights it is wort 6 pont's.

Here in this activeity I am going to be talking about Sir Edmand Hilery and how he was the first person to climp Mount Everyest 1953. Wow that was a long time ago but the 2ed part is talk about a charty of my choice and what thye do.

SPCA was what I thought so her is what they do:

They help  animal's if they are lost and  abandont. They also take animals away if the onwer can not take care of them the right way of if they are not being treated well. 40k animals have been helped by the SPCA across NZ. 29.6k animals have been microchiped thank's to the SPCA.  

SPCA helps protect over 40,000 animals in New Zealand.

So that is the end of my blog post today I may have one more posted this evning.

4 Leg's Of A Friend

Today at school the hole school go to see a 4 leged friend. The first class was myn TM2 and Tp + Tk. We were in the Wharehui to go see our four leged friend the Wharehui is nowen for a meating room is well. Who was our 4 leged friend you are problaby woundering well a Dalmatian called Baxtter and his buddy Chris they are part of the Chrischurch City Council. What  are the well they are people how give school's and Dog and farm owner's tipe's on how to keep there pet safe. 

Gess what if you leave you dog droping and not pike them up you might get a fine up to $300 well that is a lot of money and if your pet get's out of your house you will get a $200 fine well that is better but still a lot of money. yesterday my hole school here is some profe that we went to the town hall and saw Christchurch Symphony Orchestra. With  lot's of diferint school's there was a harry Potter theme one and a star wars is well as lot's more. After we walked to a park nere by and them we had some luch and played I had lot's of fun there my fav part was seeing the Harry Potter thing. Solf ball

Today I am gonig to talk about my favourite sport, Softball.

1st: In sofball you use a bat and the pitcher thows the ball but  in tee ball you use a tee to hit off because there is no pitcher.

2nd: In Softball and teeball you use a mit to catch the ball. The ball is really hard and the mit will help your hand not hurt when you cacth the ball.

3rd: In Softball you use a pitching machine for the hiter to hit the ball with the bat but half way in the season someone pitchs. I don't know why.

On the last day of term wich was term 3 I won 2 rugby pass's. I was so happy  on sunday My Dad and I went to Orange Theory stadium to wach the semey finle of the miter 10 cup. When we got there we parked at horncatle arna it was a little walk there but it payed off walking there. When we did get there we got some hot chip's and we went to our seat's just before the game we got a ice cream it was  salted carmal. The game was so cool. After we got paper signed by three players's. It was north haber vs canterbury and canterbury won. 2019 Digiaward's

Today I am going to talk about my group's digiaward video. We were we were planing to make our video we had to use a story bord each person in your team would have to draw out what they thouth to video would look like. After we all did that we had to get into our team's the people in my group are Dominic, Sahil, Zara and Me Angel-Mey and when we got in our group's and we each had are story bord then we had to choce our fav part's from each person's story bord. 

After we did that we had to draw out are finel story bord and then it was to to start to write are line's each and after we had done our line's we did the same thing to choce what to say like when we did the story brod but with the line's.

Each group had to pratic there line's lot's of time's and my group was the first to pratince what our video was going to look like and then after my group practise what it was going to look like we did the line's well doing all of the seen's we were in. A few day's later my group was the first to start film my group had lot's and I say lot's of fun fileming our video.

There were to other grop's makeing a video to but we went first. I just want to tell you what some other grop's did. Jaden,Stella and Bella made a card game called swap it, The there is a game called What's in kitty whice is Bridie,Ruby and Kane I can't tell you the rest because there is a lot more group's. Some peple made an animachon and some made a video. The dige awared's is a canterbery program and it is something we you make a vidoe or something to show them and you may win.

Colouring In Time

Today some people which was Stella, Bridie, Emma and I have put together a colouring in competion. This was really fun and what we had to do is Emma printed out some colouring pictures and then we went and asked TM1 and my class Tm2 if they wanted a Lol, Kitty, Football or a race car picture. A lot of people wanted football or kitty. When we asked people we put their name in the box of what colouring they wanted. They all have to be in by next Friday. How exciting is that?!

I had lots of fun putting this all together.

There will be 1st, 2nd or 3rd if you come first, you get a prize and a certificate and if you are 2nd or 3rd you also get a certificate.

Friday Fun Day

Today I am going to talk about Friday Fun Day. Each year we get to go skiing or ice skating. If you are a year 1,2 or 3 you will be going ice skating. If you are a year 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 you get to go skiing. Normally it will be on the 20th of September like always. I am so excited to go skiing because it will be my first time. I do not want to go on a bus up the mount, but I have to. We will leave at 7:15 in the morning. Wow! That is so early, and we get back almost at 6:00 o'clock, and now that is late. 

Lots of my friends are year 4s and a few of them have gone skiing before. I have been in snow before but not up the mountain before. We will be going to Mount Hutt. That is so tall. It takes like an hour to get there and go back.

The Class Speech Competition

This week on the 13th of August 2019 I had my class speech competition it was so fun and I worked really hard on it. My teacher Miss W filmed every one on her i-pad . I have had a great holiday and it was heeps of fun today I am going to tell you what I did in the holiday.

On the last friday of the school holidays me and my dad had nothing planned. Then June, Bridie's mum, asked if we wanted to go and see the new Toy Story movie so we said yes. June had to buy seven tickets because it was me. my Dad, Mischa Piper wis is Mischa friend, June, Bridie and Bridie's brother Harvey. I wanted to take some juice candy floss. mina jellys and choclate much roome's. When we go there we had to wate to go into the cinamer we were all in cinamer 2. When the movie started it was so cool and the toys we Bonny's.

Hello Blog readers this week I had finished my writing so I got to do free writing. My free writing is about if I had three wish and 1000 dollers.       For my first wish I would wish for a pegasie…

   I would wish for a pegasie because I can fly to school and wherever I want to go.
It would be a faster way everywhere . I like pegase because they are fast and they have wing’s

For my 2ed wish I would love to go to school everyday…

I would love to go to school everyday because I love learning and my
fav subjects are A little bit of math and reading, Writing, P.E and Art. If
we went to school everyday that means that we will get more of our fav subjects.

For my 3rd wish I would love to going shopingeverday…

I would love to go shopping everyday because that means that I will get
more stuff and on christmas my birthday now one has to get me anything
and they can save their money to buy things for there shelf.

If I have one thousand dollars what should I do with it…

 If I had one thousand dollars I would love to buy a shop or
buy 3 years of slime supplies so I can sell them and get more
money to get more slime supplies and if I did not get that stuff I would
buy a hole juck load of slime.

T2W4 Writing

Hello readers this week we have been doing information writing a lot of people were writing about dogs and I chose to write about dogs too. Please leave me a comment and what have you been writing about in your class.

ntroduction: Hello my name is Angel-Mey and today I am going to talk about dogs. Here are the three types of dogs I am going to talk about husky, labradors and pugs.

Argument 1: Huskies. Huskies can live in snowy areas because their fluffy coats can keep them warm. Huskys can work in temperatures as low as 75 degrees below zero. Huskies work as sled dogs because they’re the faster of the three sled dogs. Huskies are clever  but cheeky. They can follow instructions and be trained. They can play harder games then fetch. They are cheeky because they may steal your food and if you do not make you instructions precise they may do the opposite thing.

Argument 2: labrador. Labradors are a large dog because apparently they are a retriever gun dog. Labradors are popular in Canada, UK and the USA. They are a playful animal because they are energetic dogs and they love running around and having company. Labradors are a pet that loves playing outside and they will like going for walks. They are a good family pet because they  energetic and really playful pets. If you love playing outside this will be the pet for you.

Argument 3:Dogs.Pug’s are short and chubby wich makes them very cute .The short nise is good for a family pet which I will talk about in a minute.They make a good family pet  because  they are nice and easy to look after. All they need to live is a bed, water, healthy fats,and recommend feeding dog biscuits over canned foods.Pugs are friendly and playful they are friendly, because they love playing games and going outside if you love playing games and playing outside pugs are the do for you.

In conclusion I have been talking about huskies, labradors and pugs and they all make good pets for different reasons.

T2W3 2019 Writing

The week we have been writing persuasive writing. I wanted to write about school uniforms should be banned. Please read my writing and  leave a comment about if you think school uniform should be banned? I hope you enjoy my persuasive writing and let me know your thoughts on wearing a school uniform.
Here is my Writing:

Hello my name is Angel-Mey and today I am going to convince you school uniform should be band,
here are my three reasons. They cost lots of money, they are green and white and take more time to find
in the morning.

Argument 1:

Uniforms cost lots of most. If your school uniform cost lots of money, your mum and dad may have
enough money for food or a school uniform and your mum and dad will have to make a big choice
between food or school uniform. If it was my choice, I would chose food because if you do not eat
food you can die.

Argument 2:

Uniforms are green and white. If they are green and white you may not like the colours and you may
like other colours. Like myself I do not like wearing green and white all the time. Wearing different colours
will make the school brighter and bolder and other kids will want to come to our school. Another point is
white clothes will get stained more easily than other colours.

Argument 3:

Uniforms take more time to find. If you wake up late in the morning, you may not know where your
school uniform is. If we wear our own clothes it will be easier to find and all you have to do is get clothes
out of your draw or closet. Your school uniform may be in the wash and and wet, so you can’t wear
your uniform, so it would be easier to just wear mufti .

Conclusion:

In conclusion school uniforms should be band because They cost lost, they are green and white
and take more time to find in the morning.

T2W1 Writing

This week we got to free write and I chose to write about the pollution in the ocean. I wanted to write about this because I wanted to let people know how much rubbish is in the ocean and what it is doing.
